Private  House

This welcoming house was built and designed for a young family with children. The public part of the house works as an open space. It fits well with the family's needs and makes cooking, playing, and entertaining easy and fun. Generous size windows connect the indoors with the surrounding garden and entertainment area outdoors, and while the parents cook - they can see their children jump on the trampoline outside.

We used practical, long-lasting, and highly functional materials. The oversized kitchen island is an important centre of the activity for that family. We designed a unique ceiling feature that travels through the space and connects them. The private areas of the house were separated from the public spaces by a passway, making it easy to uncouple the two zones when desired.
